Now before you all jump all over me, I mean lets take a picture of the cat. But if you have every tried to photograph your cat you have to admit after a few minutes you want to shoot it.
Cats are often uncooperative, they do not sit on command. Often when they see the camera come out they run and hid under something or in a very poorly lit area.
Th best thing is to try a capture a photo when they aren’t paying attention to you. When they are playing with a ball of yarn, curled up on the rug sleeping, or gazing out the window.
A subdued lighting is best for cats, it brings out the brightness in their eyes. If you must use a flash try and angle it away from the cat so you don’t get that dreaded demon red eye.
The most important tip to remember is the only real way to capture a cats photo is however the cat wants it done. The sooner we realize they are in charge the easier our life will be.
